For Yeggs Fall Mapjam 2022! This was the result of me embarrassingly misreading the “Automation” theme as “Automaton”, so I came up with the idea of androids (automatons) trying to blend in. As for what social deception game to model it after: The Resistance was fresh on my mind and I loved the simplicity of it, so it felt suitable to remake in a 72-hour window.
Despite misinterpreting the theme entirely, I actually got 10th place on this jam! No doubt thanks to my very cool and interesting map art UI, an art form which has probably only gotten rarer thanks to the convenience of resource packs.
